What’s Being Said:

Romance Junkies – 3 Ribbons
Prime Evil is an enthralling novel with magic, love, mystery, and some hard-hitting action. ~Leslie Larsen

Full of twists and turns, Prime Evil is an engrossing and hard-to-put-down story that will satisfy any reader of suspense, supernatural and thrillers. Within the pages of Prime Evil, readers will find bits of romance and humor thrown in, as well as mystery, crime and heart-pounding action. I simply loved the character of Chance. She is a woman who is strong, wise, open-minded, devoted and has a wicked sense of humor. Together, her and Jack made an incredible pair. – April

Fallen Angel Reviews – 5 Angels
Prime Evil is a very good thriller/romantic suspense story with an unusual paranormal twist. Chance’s unique abilities are very intriguing, and I found the idea of what she could do with nature fascinating. Chance’s down to earth and charming personality also drew me into the story from the beginning. Jack was also a great character, who is loyal and caring even though he find’s what Chance says she can do outside of his understanding. But it is Randall Oakes and the evil plot he has in mind for Chance and other “talented” witches that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. And best of all just when I thought I had the ending figured out there is a marvelous plot twist that was so creative I loved it! I would love to read another story like this either with Chance and Jack or about some of the wonderful secondary characters that also appeared in this story. If you like paranormal thrillers with unusual abilities and really evil bad guys, you will love this book! Review by Stephanie B.

The Blurb:

In her first full-length novel, Heather Long takes readers to the farm rich countryside of Northern Virginia as hedge witch Chance Monroe fights for her way of life when serial killer Randall Oakes returns from the dead. Chance must confront a troubled past, a supernatural adversary and a sizzling passion that’s lain dormant for years.

Nearly a decade ago, Randall Oakes left hedge witch Chance Monroe for dead. Now he’s back along with her ex-lover, Jack. The FBI wants Chance in protective custody, but Chance knows it won’t be enough to protect her from Oakes. Connected to the earth, Chance must rely on her supernatural senses and her own wits to survive this game of cat and mouse.
